GAYNIELLE NEVILLE

HAS BEEN SINGING SINCE THE TENDER AGE OF FIVE YEARS OLD. WHILE HER MOTHER, THELMA HOUSEY A GOSPEL SINGER AND CHOIR LEADER WAS TAKING HER FIVE CHILDREN TO CHURCH, SHE WAS MAKING SURE ALL FIVE OF HER CHILDREN WERE SINGING IN CHURCH. GAYNIELLE, THE YOUNGEST OF FIVE CHILDREN, ALWAYS WANTED TO SING AND ENTERTAIN, BUT GAYNIELLE'S PASSION FOR POETRY AND WRITING WAS OBVIOUS.

HIGH SCHOOL WAS NO DIFFERENT, GAYNIELLE SUNG IN THE CHOIR AT HER HIGH SCHOOL IN NEW ORLEANS, WALTER L. COHEN HIGH SCHOOL.

GROWING UP IN UPTOWN NEW ORLEANS, GAYNIELLE WAS SURROUNDED BY MUSIC. SHE WAS ALWAYS TESTING HER VOCAL ABILITIES BY SINGING WITH DIFFERENT GIRL GROUPS AND DANCING GROUPS WHILE IN SCHOOL.

GAYNIELLE WAS OFFERED TO COME AND SING WITH AN ALL MAILE GROUP THAT WANTED TO TRY A FEMALE SINGER. IVAN NEVILLE AND THE RENEGADES GAVE HER THAT FIRST SINGING EXPERIENCE- SINGING CHAKA KHAN AND NATALIE COLE. GAYNIELLE KNEW THAT'S WHAT SHE WANTED TO DO.

THE LYRICS, POEMS AND MELODIES JUST SEEMED TO COME EASILY. SO GAYNIELLE WAS BROADENING HER HORIZON AS A SONGWRITIER. THE YEAR AFTER HIGH SCHOOL, WHILE GAYNIELLE WAS IN BUSINESS SCHOOL, SHE MET HER HUSBAND, WHOM 39 YEARS LATER BECAME HER BUSINESS PARTNER & MUSIC COMPANION.
